Fall detection with no camera, no mat and no wearable
Most falls happen in the bathroom, the corridor or beside the bed — exactly where cameras are refused and wearables are forgotten. TASA-2B is a 60GHz FMCW radar that reads posture and movement through the air and raises the alarm the moment a fall occurs.
What it detects
Behaviour anomalies: staying in bed too long, not returning, unusual night activity, reduced mobility and prolonged sitting
Why radarThere is no lens, so nothing is recorded and no image ever leaves the room. There is nothing to wear and nothing to charge on the body. The radar works through clothing and bedding and keeps working at night.
InstallationMount it on the wall or in a corner at 1.4–2.2 m. A corner mount covers up to 7 m; a wall mount covers up to 5 m, with 90° horizontal and 90° vertical coverage. Data goes out over 2.4G Wi-Fi, with BLE provisioning at setup, and an SDK is available for integration.
Part of one connected care systemTASA-2B reports into the same platform as the ASK824 radar vital sign monitor and the smart bedwetting detection pad, so falls, vital signs and bedwetting appear in one console and one mobile app.
